Membership
Do I need to be a member to travel?
Yes. You must be an approved member of the organisation to book and travel on a trip. Membership is required so that organisers can manage bookings safely and maintain accurate passenger records.
How do I become a member?
Register for an account on this website and verify your email address. You can then submit a membership application providing your full name, date of birth and a contact telephone number. Applications are reviewed by the organisers and you will be notified of the outcome.
Is membership free?
There is no membership fee charged through this website at present. You pay for each trip you book.
What details are required to apply?
Your full name, date of birth and a contact telephone number are required to submit a membership application. These details are used by the organisers to identify passengers and manage travel safely.
Do members need to sign any documents?
Once your membership application is approved, you may be asked to read and sign one or more membership documents before your travel profile is complete. These are presented in your account and must be signed with a typed signature to confirm your agreement.
What is a travel profile?
Your travel profile holds practical details the organisers need to support you on trips: your telephone number, an emergency contact, and any accessibility or travel-assistance requirements you wish to share. It must be complete before you can book. It can be updated at any time from your account.
Booking
How do I book an away trip?
Log in to your account and open the Away Travel section. Select the trip you want to join, choose a ticket type and pickup point, and follow the booking steps. Bookings are only available while the trip is open and seats remain.
Can I book for another passenger?
Yes, provided the additional passenger is also an approved member of the organisation. You can add saved passengers to your booking during checkout.
What is the Family Saver ticket?
Family Saver is a ticket type designed for families travelling together. It covers a defined combination of adult and child passengers in a single booking unit. The specific ages and passenger counts depend on how the organisers have set it up for each trip. Check the ticket details when booking.
What is RePat?
RePat is a return-only ticket type, available for supporters who are already at the ground and only need the return journey home. It covers the return leg of the trip without including the outward journey.
When is my booking confirmed?
Your booking is confirmed once your payment has been received and recorded by the organisers. Until payment is confirmed your place on the coach is not guaranteed.
Can I pay on the coach?
Cash payments on the day are at the organisers' discretion and should not be assumed. Contact the organisers in advance if you have a question about payment.
Payments
How can I pay?
Payment is made by BACS bank transfer to the organisation’s account. The bank details and your booking reference are provided when you complete a booking.
Are card payments accepted?
Card payments are not currently supported through the booking system. Payment is by BACS transfer. If you have difficulty with this, contact the organisers before the booking closes.
When must payment be made?
Payment should be made promptly after booking, and before the booking closes for the trip. The organisers may release your place if payment has not been received in time.
How is a BACS payment confirmed?
Once the organisers have matched your transfer to your booking reference they will update your booking status. You can see whether your payment has been recorded in your account. Allow a few days for transfers to arrive and be processed.
Travel
Where are the pickup points?
Pickup points vary by trip and are published in the trip details before booking opens. You choose your preferred pickup when you book. Contact the organisers before booking if you are unsure which point is closest to you.
How are departure times decided?
Departure times are set by the organisers for each pickup point based on the kickoff time and the journey distance. Times are published in the trip details and confirmed in your booking.
How early should I arrive at the pickup?
Please aim to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled departure time. The coach cannot wait for late passengers once it is due to leave.
Are seats allocated?
Seat allocation is at the organisers' discretion. If you have a preference or a specific seating requirement, contact the organisers before your trip.
Can accessibility or travel requirements be accommodated?
You can record any accessibility requirements or travel-assistance needs in your travel profile. The organisers will review these when preparing the trip. Contact the organisers before booking so they can confirm what is possible for a specific trip.
What happens if a trip is full?
Once a trip reaches capacity it will show as full and no further bookings can be made. Contact the organisers to ask whether a waiting list is being managed.
Match day and attendance
How is my attendance confirmed?
Attendance is recorded by the organisers. Being present on the coach and travelling with the group is what counts. If you have booked but are unsure whether your attendance has been recorded, contact the organisers.
When is mileage or travel record updated?
Travel records are updated by the organisers after a trip is completed. Allow a short time after the return journey before expecting your record to reflect the trip.
What happens if I book but do not travel?
If you cannot travel after booking, contact the organisers as soon as possible. Your booking will remain in your account. Questions about whether payment can be credited or transferred to a future trip should be raised directly with the organisers — we do not publish a formal refund policy.
Contact and support
How do I contact the team?
Use the Contact page on this website to send a message. If you are already a member you can also send a message through your account.
What should I do if my booking details change?
If your contact details, emergency contact information or travel requirements change, update your travel profile in your account as soon as possible. For changes to a confirmed booking — such as a different pickup point — contact the organisers directly.
What should I do if my enquiry is urgent?
If your enquiry is urgent or relates to a trip departing within 24 hours, please contact the designated trip organiser or steward directly using the emergency contact details provided in your booking confirmation.
Still have a question?
If you cannot find the answer you need, the organisers are happy to help. We are run entirely by volunteers, so please allow a few days for a reply.
